The Grandeur of the Qing Dynasty

Digitized versions of four scrolls from the Qing dynasty allow panning and zooming over the scroll using leaflet, an open-source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps. The interactive scrolls are contained in a website providing context for the historically significant documents. Project for Asia for Educators, an initiative of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute at Columbia University, and is a 2018 reworking of flash-based scroll versions created in 2005.
